Summary
This is my version of ‘EPIC: The Musical’. It includes cut songs, cut verses, fan songs, fan verses, and mashups of cut and final songs. In parentheses there will be the actions of the characters, which I added after being inspired to do so by ObiWanKenobiObsessed’s story ‘His Journey Home’, which I highly recommend reading. Athena's been hurt, much more thoroughly than she realized was possible. For the first time in her immortal life, she is fighting against her own body and mind, and she doesn't know how to win.
Odysseus is home. After two more weeks on sea, a fight with 108 suitors and reunited with his family, he’s quietly accepted that even a desperate prayer won’t bring his former mentor to come back. Little does he know, for two weeks, it’s all Athena’s been trying to do.
Or, what if after God Games, Athena doesn’t wake up in the infirmary? What if it’s up to a few mortals to take care of the goddess that just collapsed in their palace, looking like she should very much be dead?

This is a literary retelling of EPIC from Love in Paradise and beyond. If this picks up and gets some traction, I may also continue with the Vengeance Saga and the Ithaca Saga as well. And possibly beyond.
This will be from the perspective of the gods - occasionally, there may or may not be a mortal point of view in certain cases, but mostly it’s focusing on the Greek pantheon’s perspective.

Summary
I love to depict the gods as like family and their actually really close. So, protective sibling. Yay. This is after 600 strikes and while yes, Zeus comes to care for Poseidon. I also made him punish Ody. Sorry not sorry.I want to say though.
Since the gods are usually very creative with their punishments. For example,when Athena turned Arachne into a spider because of the weaving contest. I thought of giving it a try and trust me when I say people would think I hate Odysseus because of what I've done. I don't.

I reached my hand out but felt only the beating and throbbing of my heart and body. Why was the water not responding to my powers? What was wrong?"Or in other words, Poseidon getting hit by his Trident causes more damage than you would think. He loses his powers and gets stranded. What's worse is that the other gods don't take the news well: especially Hades and Zeus.
