Summary
When Thor accepted a position on the nursing staff at Hope General, he expected a fresh start. Out of the marine corps for a year, he was looking for something to pull him back into the world. In a new city, far from his military roots, what he found was Loki. A special patient at Hope, Loki was the son of the hospital's owner; an artist trapped within his own mind and debilitating disease. What do you do when you fall for a man you shouldn't? One who could ruin you with one word to the ethics board, or a cure that would come too late? But Loki had no interest in ruin. He wanted two things: an end to this ailment, and Thor. And he wasn't used to getting what he wanted.

“Tony's such an attention seeker, isn't he?” Loki startled, scratching the pencil on the paper too far while sketching the mane. He cursed softly and looked up to see a man dressed in casual clothes and a jacket with the zoo logo. “Sorry. Not many people visit in this weather.” He hummed thoughtfully.
The man had long-ish golden hair and honey tanned skin. He looked a bit like a lion Loki was drawing. His demeanor was calm and he looked at Loki with calculating, blue eyes. There was a welcoming smile on his lips, though. He was… easy on the eyes, to say at least.
“You're a zookeeper.”
“And you're an artist.”
_OR: When Hela forced Loki to get therapy, he didn't expect to end up in a zoo where a very pretty zookeeper works. He also didn't expect to see the man more than once, nor did he expect to have to come face to face with his own demons (and his estranged brother Thor).

Loki never wanted a servant or a slave during his time as the Prince of Asgard, second heir to the throne. But, due to sacred rules that the son-of-a-bitch Odin won’t change, he must have a handmaid to *at least* clean his rooms. Unfortuantely, he is already a very clean person, but he also really likes to paint. He is an artist, one of the best in Asgard (but people don’t know that), and one say he decides he needs a model for a certain painting, but it is a *lewd* painting. He could call in for a prostitute of some sort, but that feels wrong. Although… that handmaid is very nice looking. The exact look he wants for his painting, really. And she is very submissive, willing to do anything. Asking won’t hurt, he’ll make her as comfortable as possible…
