So far it's working for the piglin.Tubbo is a 17 year old who the world turned on and can't seem to catch a break. He is also the said son of the guy technos trying to kill.
What happens when they meet becuase techno owed a twisted homeless guy a favor?

Techno is an assassin who after a few unfortunate turn of events adopts the son of the guy he's trying to kill while also trying to keep his identity and tubbo from all side of the parties.
How well is that going to go? Who knows! It's a newly tried dad with a nuke obsessed child who loves bees :3

Technoblade.
Venesity's most renowned assassin. Known well for his ability to kill with no trace of his commoner self. No one knows who really he is. His real name is Techno. Venesity calls him The Blade due to the way he slashes people down with only one strike of his sword. Therefore, he is Technoblade.
He kills nobles. He kills wealthy politicians. He kills anyone who has more attention than he does.
He kills whoever he wants, when he wants, and for whatever reasons he might have.
And then there's Philza. A traveler who just misses his wife.

“No, Wil, I- I can’t, you’re going- you’re going to get hurt and it’s going to be my fault!” Tommy’s voice breaks over a dry sob. Wilbur can see an inky shadow slide around Tommy’s chest and then smaller, tentative shadows crawl to rest around his fingers. “Wil, please, I’m going to hurt you, I don’t wanna hurt you, please.”
“You don’t have to fight it, Toms.” Wilbur whispers, and something in Tommy’s face shifts like he’s been waiting to hear that sentence his entire life. “You don’t have to keep fighting, Tommy. You’ve fought for so long, it’s okay. I’ll be okay.”
Tommy has never not known hurt. Wilbur plans on changing that.

Wilbur, an assassin, is sent to kill one of the most dangerous people in the kingdom. What he doesn't know is that the monster is just a kid who's surprisingly hard to murder, and when neither Technoblade nor Phil can kill him either, they decide to take him in.

Summary
When Technoblade fails his assassination attempt on his target, Philza, he is flung into a world of uncertainty. Going from his last master to whatever the heck this is he is left confused and on edge. Despite Techno being a vampire the Watson family is determined to make him feel safe and comfortable.
With the help of Phils friend, Schlatt, they start the search into Techno's coven, and Sire. What they find is sickening, showing just what happened to such a young boy. Techno's unwillingness to open up about his past is suddenly extremely clear.

Everytime he shut his eyes, he'd be put in a dreamscape that he was scared to truly explore. It was everything and nothing that Tommy ever wanted, and especially, the fact that dreams were the only way that soulmates – yes, soulmates – could communicate with one another. The assassin Tommy had killed was in front of him, having probably followed him since the manor. He was very surely a full-on ghost, despite him having never seen one in person before now, here to haunt him until…something, probably, he didn’t know! He wasn’t a fucking ghost expert or something.
Tommy looked back to the fire, the first drag of panic making his breath catch in his throat. “This cannot be happening.”
“I’m afraid it is.” The ghost leaned forward, grin widening. “Boo.”
Tommy only stared at him blankly.

Ghosts can only be seen by the person that killed them. Now, if Tommy were anybody else, he might be panicking and freaking out right now. But because he was Tommy, he wasn't, and he was actually looking forward to being friends with this ghost of the person he killed.
