Raph had seen Mikey’s life flash before his eyes enough times to be cautious, and had watched him actually get hurt enough times to be paranoid. A scraped knee was enough to set off alarm bells these days, but when Raph thought about the broken bones, the puncture wounds, the cuts right through muscle that had left marks on his baby brother, he wanted to scream and hold Mikey safe against his chest forever. He wanted to stuff him in his shell and tape it shut, to carry him around and stomp anything into the ground that gave the slightest indication that it might want to hurt him.

Donnie rushes up to Leo, pulling out his tech and scanning Leo for what injuries he may have to assess the urgency of them returning home. His eyes widen at the screen. A missing arm, shattered ribs, a large crack on his shell, several cracks on his front, and a severe concussion.
He hadn't looked at Leo yet since he came from the portal, so Donnie glanced up from his screen and looked at Leo's arms. Crap. The scan was correct and that horrified Donnie but he tried to keep it together. He's the calm one.
"Raph, carefully pick Leo up and bring him to the vehicle," Donnie commands with urgency, "He's in critical condition"
OR: When Mikey opens the portal to save Leo, Leo loses his arm.

The youngest, Michealangelo, was being his usual self.. Aloof and kooky. So, therefore, despite being told not to, there he was.. skating up and down the sewer, Not a care in the world. He skates into Donatello's lab, just as the possible formula became a success, a Reality... all he had to do was not drop it. simple enough?..well, no. Mikey crashes into his older siblings, causing him to drop the antidote. a portal forms, but the impact of Donnie and Mikey's collision causes mikey to tumble into the portal..all hell breaks loose in this post-Apoptolyptic World, How does Mikey survive..? well, with the help of some friends.. bonds are formed and shattered, people come and go just like that. but that's life.. isn't it?
