During mating season, male axolotls (Ambystoma mexicanum) exhibit increased activity and behaviour to attract a mate. When it comes to mating, male axolotls become more active in their search for a mate. This increased activity includes swimming around more actively, exploring their environment, and often displaying courtship behaviours to attract female axolotls. These courtship behaviours might include nudging, biting, or even releasing pheromones into the water to communicate their readiness to mate.
These are all signs that Axol fails to acknowledge. Assuming the increase of energy to just be restlessness, forgetting his own strength, and the pheromones for sweat. How in the world would he guess it was due to mating season. Axol ends up getting help from Bob, Boopkins and Mario to figure out what's wrong with him, better than going to the doctor.
