Summary
He stops as he spots something new. It’s brief, so much so he very nearly misses it. A flash of dark fabric slipping through a closing doorway, highlighted by a rusted barrel sitting next to it holding nothing but a fire. Similar-but not the same, of course- to the one in his memories.
It must be a sign. Locals had told him of such signifiers of buildings of note in the warehouses in particular. Perhaps he and Rubin had only barely missed each other, and this was his chance to amend that. To inform him before it was too late.
