Summary
Moxxie is a mobster - or an aspiring one, at least - in his father's gang. He's young, inexperienced, and frankly doesn't like that he does what he does. But... what choice does he have? He couldn't disobey his father. They were all each other had left.
One night, after screwing up on a collection, Moxxie decides to walk home instead of heading back with the other mafioso. After an unfortunate series of events, he gets his wallet lifted off him. He chases down the pickpocket, only to find its a young hellhound. Before he has much opportunity to find out more, she scurries off, leaving him with his wallet, and more questions than answers.

Summary
In a damp jail cell with nowhere for either of them to run, Moxxie asks Blitzø where he got his scars. He's heard enough thugs and loan sharks exchanging enough stories about the badass ways they've gotten their scars that he figures this is just the way people in jail talk. And now that he's one of those people in jail, he figures he might as well join in.
Blitzø, however, doesn't seem to take as kindly to the conversation about scars. He also immediately clocks what everyone else chooses to ignore—that the small markings under Moxxie's eyes look more like scars than cute, unassuming freckles.
Moxxie's beginning to realize just how badly they've both been burned.

Summary
In the aftermath of Unhappy Campers, Moxxie feels horribly guilty for how he treated Millie at the camp and promises her to be better. At the same time, Blitzo calling him a "disgrace" for his handling of the mission not only brings up painful memories of his father berating him, but also makes him reflect on some of his less-than-stellar performances in the past.
All of which makes him feel useless and unwanted.But with the realization that he's previously been so wrapped up in his own emotions that he's failed to notice Millie feeling overlooked, he resolves to keep quiet about how he feels and try to work through it on his own because he doesn't want to be a burden to her again.
And his mental state isn't improved by Blitzo continuing to lash out at him as a way to vent his own sorrow over Barbie Wire effectively disowning him... Which makes Moxxie further retreat into himself.With both Blitzo and Moxxie hurting after the fiasco at Camp Iwannakummore, can this negative spiral be stopped before it's too late?

After we learned about Moxxies abusive dad and how his mom died I got the idea to write a fic about how Moxxie is scared of water.
Thennnnmn I watched ep3 and had an idea for an AU where they go through with Blitzos plan to dump the bodies in the lake.
