He chases down the pickpocket, only to find its a young hellhound. Before he has much opportunity to find out more, she scurries off, leaving him with his wallet, and more questions than answers.

In a damp jail cell with nowhere for either of them to run, Moxxie asks Blitzø where he got his scars. He's heard enough thugs and loan sharks exchanging enough stories about the badass ways they've gotten their scars that he figures this is just the way people in jail talk. And now that he's one of those people in jail, he figures he might as well join in.
Blitzø, however, doesn't seem to take as kindly to the conversation about scars. He also immediately clocks what everyone else chooses to ignore—that the small markings under Moxxie's eyes look more like scars than cute, unassuming freckles.
Moxxie's beginning to realize just how badly they've both been burned.
