You fell into middle earth and woke up on a massive hoard of gold, silver, trinkets and jewels. You had become ‘Smaug the terrible’. Only that you are clearly female and no dragon at all.
The gold wasn’t as comfortable as it might have looked in the movies. And on top of that, being a dragon was boring. All day long staring at gold. No stories, no music, no company.
You had already organized the treasures out of boredom, thank god you had read the hobbit and watched the movies, as you did with everything else from Tolkien you could get your hands on.
Occasionally you would get out of the mountain to visit Lake Town. Bard was nice to you, as had been his father. He never asked where you came from, or how you got a hold of the long lost gold from the dragon's hoard. The dragon hasn’t been seen for more than sixty years, only the young girl visiting the city of men, trading gold for stories and books, avoiding the greedy claws of the town's mayor and his slimy advisor.
It was about time that the company of Thorin Oakenshield arrived.

After a really, really, really bad day at work, new manager Gwyn is ready to walk away from everything stressing her out. An anime otaku, D&D nerd, literary and video game buff, she wakes up the next morning in an entirely new place with a familiar face. Now what's a girl to do when you're in Middle Earth with nothing but the clothes on your back and a cheap blade in hand? Not to mention Middle Earth copies of your family running around. Gwyn struggles the path of a whirlwind/doomed romance all the while wondering if everything is real or just another dream. Only this dream has the real danger of shattering her heart on waking.
After spending the past 5 months with the Durins, Gwyn is now on the timeline for the movies. So much has already changed, she doesn't have a clear picture of what will happen now.

Hidden since her hatching, kept chained and captive in the caverns of Moria, Salanth decides that this new little creature was a perfectly perfect Treasure, and he wasn't going to die, for she had commanded it otherwise. As Frerin wakes and is horrified to discovery himself Soul Bound to a dragon, Salanth decides that the deep dark of Moria is certainly not the best back drop for her Little Golden Creature, and she sets about figuring out a way to fix that. After all, her Hoard had to be perfect, and he certainly didn't look perfect with that disgruntled frown on his little face.

Afterall Fili did save her and her siblings from orcs and rebuilding ties with Erebor is important to Dale’s survival. But as weeks pass and he still shows little progress she wonders if her consistent support and care has become less about allies and more about her heart wanting the bluest eyes she has ever seen to open once again.
