    "Can I kiss you?" He asks, immediately stopping with his mouth still open. He flushes a bright red, unsure why he suddenly asked it. "¡Lo siento! That sort of just came out of the blue–"

    Cellbit is quiet, his lips turning into a toothy grin. "You’re my husband, are you not, Guapito?" He purrs, leaning into his personal space.

    Roier places a hand on Cellbit’s face, relishing in the way his stubble feels, and Cellbit tangles his finger in Roier’s hair at the back of his neck.

    "I guess you are, yes," Roier murmurs, staring into Cellbit’s eyes.

    He smiles, both hands now holding Cellbit’s face. Their lips then meet, the two leaning into each other’s space, bodies flush together, and whatever gardening they were doing, forgotten.

    La tormenta parecía empeorar cada segundo, por más remoto que estuviera aquella cabaña, no fue impedimento para que la criatura lo capturará en aquel lugar y terminará volteando de cabeza tanto su mundo entero como la de su pequeño y único hijo.

    Tal vez si hubiera sido más atento, o ser más cuidadoso, o no dejar de lado los sentimientos de aquel niño que solo quería el mismo amor incondicional que había recibido su hermano mayor antes de esa horrible tragedia.

    Ahora lo único que le quedaba era aceptar por completo a esa bestia, que lo devoraba con la mirada y que su hijo terminó atrayendo para "hacer feliz" a su padre o dejar que se llevara su último rayo de felicidad acabando tanto con su vida como la de él.

    However, in the rush between taking care of Bobby and her sudden absence, she never got around to proper mining and ended up either behind the curve of everyone else in terms of tools, or being gifted them by Roier. When she fails, it’s Roier’s things she’s wasting.

Jaiden can’t help the twinge of self-consciousness that tugs in her gut, wanting to immediately cover or flip her canvas from view. It was far from her best work.

    When she’s on her feet, however, Bobby and Roier are already bent over her painting.

    “Oh– ¡Guau! ¡Qué bonito! Jaiden! What the fuck!” Roier crows with a laugh of disbelief, eyes dancing between the painting and the landscape she’d been mirroring, “This is so good!”

    Perhaps it would be simpler to call it a paradox. A paradox refers to a contradiction in a logical sentence or phrase. Dead tired. One cannot be tired if they are dead.

    Cellbit is dead tired, yet his heart pounds in his ears as his eyes fly open with the terrified memory of something ripped from his throat. Is it an oxymoron or a paradox?
