"How about I dance with Penelope if you keep Prudence at bay?" Benedict offered.
"That will do," His mother said with a self-satisfied grin. She had noticed the poor girl at the edge of the ballroom, looking incredibly lonely without either Colin or Eloise, her previously loyal companions at her side. Although she knew that whatever must have caused this break in their previously tight relationships must have been big, all of her children refused her the whole of the matter. Then again, Anthony, Benedict, and Francesca all admitted they only knew a part of the tale. Eloise, Daphne, and Colin, however, had managed to skillfully avoid all of her questioning.
