Summary
Nicolò di Genova, Nicky to his friends, di Genova to other players and 'Nova' unwillingly, was shocked when he got the news he was being traded from his place on the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Ottawa Sentators. The worst part being he was on the starting line with his biggest rival in the league, Yusuf al-Kaysani; Joe to his friends, al-Kaysani to other players and major asshole to Nicky.
After spending years throwing punches and season record times in the penalty box Nicky and Joe are forced to throw a years long divison rivalry aside. And they do, one way or another.

Summary
Daggers become a permanent squad and 2 years later Jake is shot down and killed protecting his Team.
Another year passes and somehow Daggers are involved in a top-secret Pentagon mission where they encounter Jake again. Turns out Jake is now working as a mercenary and is part of a group of immortal humans, including his husband with whom he has been for centuries. He joined the Navy to learn how to fly planes and then faked his death to go back to his real family.
Daggers are not sure how to deal with the fact that Jake is in reality an ancient being and Bradley is struggling with the reality that he is just a passing episode in a life of an immortal being.

Sometimes, when one of them suffers a catastrophic head injury, it takes a while to remember it all. The last time had been Booker. They’d taken turns, for the few days after, filling in all the gaps that Booker couldn’t recall at the time. The memories all came back eventually, but at least there was a warning. Some things just shouldn’t be remembered alone.
