Summary
Frye crouches down, dark tentacles bobbing and darker cheeks aglow under the moonlight, and Shiver wants to kiss her. Kill her. They don’t know what to do with her. Scream their throat hoarse, maybe, set them both ablaze. “Well, pretty thing,” she says, and Shiver can’t focus on the clank of their shovel when her long fangs move like that, “maybe I’m here to renegotiate.”
(OR: Shiver is a powerful necromancer and Frye is a witch specialized in bone magic. They fight over turf and pride and grave-robbing rights... and definitely don't wonder what the other tastes like. Absolutely not.)
