Penny and Talon are just normal high schoolers in their junior year of highschool. Of course, the two started off on the wrong foot in their freshman year when they pitted against each other in a class debate (which ended in a tie because the teacher was too afraid of them to pick a winner [even though it was definitely Penny]). But now with stressful AP and honors classes, the two were finding it hard to juggle their academic rivalry with getting proper amounts of sleep. And to make matters worse, they got paired up for their winter final project.

Quimby jumped back with a gasp as the creature’s mouth opened to reveal huge teeth. It screeched at Quimby, seemingly angered that he had messed with its mouth. Quimby gripped the weapon in his pocket, expecting the beast to lunge at him. Though all it did was sit and mumble, attempting to speak.
“What did you do to Augustin?” Quimby finally mustered the power to speak. Even so, his fear showed. He hoped maybe that August was fine.
“He… hel… hel…” the creature continued to mumble. Quimby finally brandished the weapon and held it to the creature’s throat.
“Tell me before I cut you the rest of the way in half.” The creature silenced. It simply stared fearfully into Quimby’s eyes.
“H… He…”
“Spit it out, beast!”
“Help me… Quim…”Inspector Gadget horror AU where he isn’t actually a “gadget-man” at all. Featuring many other cheesy or possibly disturbing horror tropes.
