Summary
Adora and Catra were… close. In fact, they were the hottest couple on campus. The only problem with this, of course, is that they were not dating. The jock’s best description of the relationship was “it’s complicated.” The pair were very affectionate and Adora swears it’s always been strictly non-romantic. It’s hard for Adora to tell if the rumors stemmed from the fact that they were two conventionally attractive gay best friends, or from typically being attached at the hip. Though it was more likely derived from the completely true rumors that they’ve been caught making out at pretty much every party they’ve ever been to together. Just best friends who happened to be attracted to each other and sometimes acted on it. Adora would never admit it, but deep down she was in love with Catra. Her feelings extending far past platonic since Catra took her first kiss in 8th grade.
