Maxim is a privateer out of the port city of Sigil, captaining the ship Aegis. Unfortunately for him, it's rather difficult to hold down a crew when your single-minded drive and cold demeanor isolate you from most people. Relying on the loyalty of his fae-kin first mate and the motley skeleton crew he's able to assemble, he once more sets sail onto the Astral Seas in pursuit of the most lucrative bounty of all- the scourge that is the pirate crew of the Per Aspera.
At least, that's what he tells his handler back in Sigil. After all, who would fund a revenge mission to chase down a myth that no other person has survived to witness?
