Their objective tonight isn’t particularly dangerous, thankfully. They just have to gather details on a target, one who is almost certain to be at this establishment later in the night. To avoid suspicion, they’re entering the venue a couple hours early as a pair—far more trustworthy than a single person who showed up right before or right after her.
It makes plenty of logical sense. That doesn’t mean Ratio has to enjoy it as much as Aventurine does. He’s even more irritated that he can’t wear his headpiece without sticking out.
Aventurine twirls around with a flourish, a grin on his face. “Au contraire, docteur! I’m thinking of nothing but the operation.” He steps closer, brushing Ratio’s hands away from where they’re fidgeting with his shirt and undoing a couple buttons—almost instantly, he can breathe much easier. “We have to blend in, right? No way to blend in at a casino other than…” He finishes adjusting the collar, smirking wryly up at him.
Ratio and Aventurine are on a mission involving a casino. Before they get down to business, Aventurine plans to have some fun, and Ratio's getting dragged into it, even if he isn't playing.

Before the argument could reignite, the doors behind them suddenly swung open with a dramatic whoooosh. Particles exploded outward in a shower of Spoke’s signature rainbow headband colours, and all three of them jumped back, weapons halfway drawn.
Spoke stood in the doorway, backlit by the warm glow of light from inside. His grin was wide and genuine, and his eyes had that faint shimmer that happened when he was particularly excited. For a moment, his outline seemed to flicker, like he was barely maintaining his physical form.
"You came!" he exclaimed, throwing his arms wide. "I was starting to think you guys were gonna stand me up!"
The three visitors exchanged glances. Parrot's hand stayed on his sword hilt.
"Spoke," he said carefully, "why exactly did you invite us here?"
"For a sleepover!" Spoke's grin didn't falter. "Come on, don't just stand there! It's cold out and I made snacks!"
Spoke somehow managed to appear behind them, already herding them toward the door. "In, in, in! I spent all day setting this up!"
"That's what I'm worried about," Wemmbu muttered, but he allowed himself to be shepherded forward.

Deep Blue has been defeated and things are slowly returning to normal in Tokyo aside from errant Chimera Animas still needing to be taken care of. Ichigo has even picked up a new hobby in the form of Duel Monsters. Everything will be fine from now on, right?
Then Ichigo suddenly awakens an unknown spirit inside her pendant and begins having memory blackouts whenever she or her loved ones and friends are in danger. As questions about the spirit’s origins and the impact the Cyniclons had on Earth pile up, new enemies emerge alongside old ones that threaten to once again put the innocent in harms way. All the while, the whole team begins to confront the reality of their situation and the effects of what was thought to have been the final battle.
