As people rebuild and friends return to their lives, roughly a year had flown by since Finn had been keeping himself busy with adventuring. Ooo's beloved hero continues to try and live his life as a "normal" human, but unfortunately for Finn, being the incarnation of a cosmic entity accompanied by the return of an old and dreaded enemy complicates things. Join Finn and his friends on another wild, emotional, and action packed adventure that will take them to new places within Ooo and beyond!

After continued disasters, Princess Bubblegum has decided that enough is enough. Ooo needs to change, her proposal, unite all of the Kingdoms of Ooo under one flag, under her command. A united Ooo that will not allow any more crime to spread around.
This idea divides Ooo in half. One side (lead by Bubblegum) accepts it and wants to be unified, while an other (lead by Flame Princess) wants to keep Ooo as independent kingdoms afraid of what Ooo would turn out under Bubblegum's rule.
Sides are chosen, relationships are reforged, while others are destroyed, as all peacefull solutions fail, there is only one way to settle the fate of Ooo..

Flame Princess' forlorn upbringing inside an abode of a pillaring lantern has made her docile and ingenuous to the world outside, but it all changes once Phoebe meets her coequal, Finn. While Phoebe's unhealthy proclivity for destruction is dampened with time, Finn's heroic tenets and his reprisal, her isolation and the Flame King's influence is slowly making her unstable. With things being too hot to handle.
Chapter starts with "Hot To The Touch", rehashing it but character extra thoughts and extra bits are incorporated and blended in. Disclaimer only chapter to be 're-hashed' like this, future iterations will follow a canon, kind of divergence, original chapters.

A few weeks had passed after the defeat of Golb and all of Ooo had attained peace...for now. Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum continued ruling the Candy Kingdom, Finn and Jake continued to be her most trusted heroes. Nothing was any different; except maybe the addition to her family, Aunt Lolly and also...her girlfriend, Marceline, Heir to the Nightosphere and the Vampire Queen. Said Vampire Queen would often stay at the Candy Kingdom to accompany her, then sometimes, they'll spend time at her home inside the cave with Simon Petrikov and Pep But (who was cured from being a baby). Yep, everything was good, given it was after Golb's banishment.
Suddenly, there came news from the Fire Kingdom, more specifically, from Phoebe, about a supernatural being residing in the border in between the Fire and Candy Kingdoms, she had asked them to check it out because only one could possibly reason with this creature, Phoebe believes:
