Summary
When Zemo strode into the ballroom filled with Hydra fanatics, he fully expected to kill everyone in attendance. The Winter Soldier's presence, as unexpected as it was, should facilitate his revenge. Hydra's most precious weapon was notably difficult to hunt down, and here he was, first dancing half-naked on stage, and then thrust into Zemo's hands, to use as he saw fit - an offer on a silver platter.
Zemo had vowed to kill all super soldiers, but the one kneeling at his feet, begging for an order with his mouth and a choice with his eyes? Zemo took him under his protection instead.

“Isn’t that how gods talk?” James parrots from times past, just like Zemo knew he would.
“We are no mere mortals,” Zemo purrs. He takes a step closer, body tensing when the Soldier reaches out and puts his left hand on his chest, stopping him with the permanence of an anvil hitting rock. But even so, he’s gotten close enough to see the half-dilated pupils of James’ eyes, close enough to smell the gunpowder trapped in the creases of his clothing.
“Leave,” James commands.
But Zemo isn’t the Winter Soldier. He doesn’t take orders, he gives them, and he only smirks, kittenish lips exposing gleaming teeth. The hand not holding his knife reaches up, gloved fingers wrapping around James’ thick wrist where it’s planted on his chest, his voice low and melodic as he says, “Make me.”

Summary
As they all sat in the table and ate in a pregnant silence, Bucky couldn’t help but think about the turns and twists his life constantly took. The heaviness of the tension in the room was suffocating and Bucky couldn’t feel more claustrophobic.
He took a look at Steve, who was eating in silence, but doing a very poor job at not glaring at Zemo the whole time. And then spared a look at Zemo, who was enjoying the meal without a care in the world, sipping on his wine like the royal asshole that he was. Lastly he glanced at Sharon and Sam, who were trying their best to look like they minded their business, but it was clear that they enjoyed Bucky’s misfortune.
This felt like The Last Supper, and Bucky was Jesus, aware of the feigned cordiality in this table; waiting for a hidden knife to pierce through someone’s back at any moment now.
Except, he was never Jesus, but he would make a fine Mary Magdalene.

Summary
Bucky has been dosed with sex pollen before, but never one that acts so quickly, or hurts so fucking much.
