This was such a beautiful tale. She really had her own things happening and the characters were so well written, Sam and Dean would totally react like that.
Does skip over everything happening in hunts which is kinda refreshing for a rewrite and it's not just domestic stuff like others.
Danni is a badass and I'm glad she ditched that family. ♡

Summary
"Liar" might be Dean Winchester's middle name, but when a case has him going undercover as Castiel's fake husband at a resort offering romantic getaways for couples, and even hyphenating their surnames, it becomes clear to Dean that he's in over his head this time. The problem isn't that Dean doesn't know how to play the part of the angel's besotted spouse, or what pet names suit Cas best. It's that Dean has no clue how he's going to make it look like it's all an act when he harbours very real feelings towards Cas.
Meanwhile, the angel Castiel finds himself at a loss. Neglecting Dean Winchester's safety at all, let alone in the vicinity of one of Hell's most powerful demons, would be an unforgivable mistake. Danger is close enough that Cas can taste it, and the stench of sulfur permeates every inch of the small town. So why can't he stop getting distracted by Dean's warmth?

It wasn’t even a particularly creepy skeleton; it was in kind of a “just chillin’” pose on the floor. One ankle was still locked up in a heavy iron cuff, at the end of a short chain leading back to the wall. Snoresville, as dead stuff goes; Dean’s seen worse at Disneyland.
It was the skeleton’s comment about Dean’s ass that really livened things up.

Summary
What if no angels answered Dean’s call for help? What if Dean were to lose Sam to the trials, lose everything, with Cas being the only person left to help him pick up the pieces despite being broken himself?
Without Cas’s grace, he’s weakened and vulnerable, and Dean needs something vulnerable to take care of in the wake of his brother’s death. Dean cloaks his need for intimacy during this isolation under the veil of taking care of Cas and teaching him to be human, which he asserts does, in fact, need to be done. He vows to put aside his feelings and do his best to raise his angel to be human better than he himself was raised.
