With the help of Bail Organa and Obi-wan, she fakes her death and goes into hiding to raise her children. When Inquisitors come looking for the Force-sensitive twins, Padmé realizes she has to fight back against the Empire to protect them. The Emperor's Executioner, Lord Vader himself, stands in her way.

“Master… help me…” Anakin’s throat was burning from the inside. Each syllable ripping open new wounds. He knew he was too late. Obiwan was nowhere to be seen, but he tried again. “Obiwan! P-Please… Dont leave me…” No reply.

Anakin’s POV after the fight on Mustafar and how it haunts him. His fierce hatred but extreme love for Obiwan Kenobi is forever ingrained into the remaining bits of his soul. It’s really just an excuse to make some angsty sad Vaderwan/Obikin fanfiction.

Steve Rogers is no longer Captain America after failing to help the Jedi and the Avengers loyal to him to prevent Palpatine from becoming Emperor. Despite he, Bucky and Obi Wan defeating Iron Man and Anakin Skywalker on Mustafar/Hawaii the newly formed Empire takes over Earth. Steve Rogers is Nomad and he has ceded leadership responsibilities to Sam Wilson the new Captain America of a group that are the small remnant of Avengers that survived Order 66. This group is Captain America (Sam Wilson), White Wolf (Bucky Barnes), Nomad (Steve Rogers), White Widow (Yelena Belova) and Mockingbird II (Bobbi Morse). Revolutionary General Cham Syndulla recruits them to participate in a bold plan to assassinate Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader to cripple the Empire as they are still struggling to establish complete control over the Earth 5 years after Order 66. Steve reluctantly agrees to the plan but is beginning to wonder if this is the one fight that will finally cause him to not give up the name Captain America but give up fighting the good fight entirely.

Perhaps it was fitting that Vader's death came in a shroud of darkness.
Perhaps it was fitting that mere moments later, Anakin was blinded by overwhelming light.
Vader dies in his son's arms upon the 2nd Death Star. Anakin reawakens in an unfamiliar body in an - unfortunately - familiar planet.
While Geonosis wasn't Tatooine, there was still far too much sand for his liking.
Of course, finding himself to be in the body of the Clone Trooper who fell alongside Padme doesn't help matters. Especially when he realises that, while he recognises her, all she sees of him is another face amongst millions of clones.
(TLDR: Time-Travelling Vader/Anakin who ends up in the body of that one random clone who fell with Padme back in Ep II).
