Freedom. It was the only thing Mira and Zoey wanted ever since they'd succumbed to their patterns and fallen to the demon realm. Now, it was within their reach. Gwi-ma was sending them to the overworld on a mission. It was simple. Infiltrate the newest generation of Hunters, stop the Honmoon from turning gold, and once it disappeared completely, they would be... free.
Freedom. It was the only thing Rumi craved since her patterns started spreading. A chance to be normal, to feel comfortable in her own skin without the stain of her heritage weighing like a boulder on her shoulders. With the Golden Honmoon, her wish would come true.
or: Demons Zoey and Mira are sent to stop the Honmoon from turning gold. They thought it would be easy. They did not expect their new groupmate to be so attractive. The mission just got a hell load harder.

It leads to a night of passion as the girls get to experience a very different side to Rumi..... with very unintended consequences.

Summary
A groan of pain ripped through the air as the girl started to gain more lucidity. One of the men moved an inch towards her, but Zoey was quicker. She materialized in a cloud of pink smoke between him and the girl. She could smell his sweat, the tobacco on his tongue.
“Uh-uh uh. Don’t touch her.” At this, the chains rattled, the girl straining to see. Zoey tsked, cooed at the man. “Is he bothering you, sweetheart?” The affirmative noise she got in return was enough for Zoey.

Summary
When a few minor events change, leading to a different final confrontation with Gwi-Ma, HUNTR/X deals with the aftermath of their victory. A series of interconnected stories about what happens after the Honmoon is restored and the world is safe.
At least the first chapter of the first story needs to be read to understand the changes to this canon divergent series.

"Report." The tension was barely held, the emotion within praying for violence.
"Our Legions significantly outnumber Gwi-Ma's faceless." Mira response was casual, but clean. It carried the cool, unfiltered confidence of someone that knew exactly how to position each and every word where they needed to be. Rumi had come to rely on it as the war dragged on. "The human calvary units have successfully flanked and destroyed his remaining outposts. Only his Capital remains." Mira paused. "Zoey reports unusual energy signatures stemming from below his castle. She suspects it is divine in nature."
Rumi blinked, brows immediately knitting together. Her patterns shifted, a baleful purple slowly blending into streaks of bright red. Where it anyone else, she'd have accused them of lying. But this was Mira. She wasn't just anybody. "How?"
"I don't know." Mira's own patterns brightened briefly, a flesh of lavender.
"Find out." Rumi commands. Mira nods and leaves without another word.
OR
Demon Lord Rumi leads a full-scale Rebellion against the enslaving Demon King, Gwi-Wa. He loses. She wins. Archangel Celine is sent to investigate. Zoey is captured. Rumi and Mira vow to get her back.

Celine's eyes glowed with a new fervor as she looked at each of them. "Your voices are the key. Your songs... they can reach the Honmoon in a way no one else's can. When the time is right, you will perform, and with the help of the Honmoon and the energy of the crowd, you will make it become golden. The Golden Honmoon will then seal the demons away, getting rid of them all, and Gwi-Ma, forever."
Zoey’s blood ran cold. The final words echoed in her mind. Getting rid of them all forever. She thought of her own patterns.

Summary
As they climbed to the top of his mountain, at the highest peak of the stairs, the two small demons could see the looming, bursting figure of the Demon king himself.
His voice boomed over them and the endless fields of suffering demons like a rain of burning yet freezing hail, painfully shedding over them as he spoke.
"My hunters. For you I have a job."
Mira snorted with a disgusted and higher-than-thou look upon her face at the dreaded deity. "What is it."
The king's laugh rumbled in a dark warm way as he started again. "In the overworld, the honmoon has grown weak. But the hunters themselves know this, they've been keeping off my armies and spies from invading the lands as we need to escape. You are to infiltrate them. Kill them. Return to me after you do."
Mira and Zoey have long been forgotten by the world- trapped beneath in Gwi-Ma's realm and itching to escape. When the opportunity arises in the form of a mission to hunt down the remaining two demon hunters will they follow through or will they find comfort in the arms of Rumi who shows them that there could be more to this life than just surviving and fending for themselves?
