“I trust you” Jean whispers, but it sounds like a shout in the silence of the changing room walls. “You will not hurt me” The words hit like a bullet against his skin, and air fills Jeremy’s lungs as he finally breathes in. The flood of guilt from making this situation about himself is halted in his brain by Jean’s hands around his wrists, the Exy-calloused fingers raising his hands until they rest on the top of Jean’s head, distracting him completely from his guilty conscience.
Jean slips his fingers slowly off Jeremy’s, staring up at him as he rests against his knees. “You will not hurt me,” Jean says it louder this time, “Prove it.”

Summary
