The next, you're running twelve hour days, investigating, spying, fighting, and generally saving Kryta, and eventually Tyria. Life... had been so simple.

While Captain Logan might be better out in the field, he prefers to stay where he can keep Queen Jennah safe, having abandoned his friends in their hour of need for her. Jennah might enjoy seeing him every day, but she fell in love with a hero who fought dragon champions.
The people demand protection. Jennah wants her hero back. Logan simply yearns to settle down, get married, and see his love every day of his life.
But the day is coming when the dragons will threaten Jennah and her kingdom. No single person can stand against the dragons; no single people, and no single nation. History had proven such time and again. Logan and his old friends, who slew many dragon champions and came within a hair's breadth of taking down an Elder Dragon itself, will be needed. Tearnanog has left her Vigil post in Ascalon at the beckoning of her Mentor, Caithe, and the Pale Tree. They claim she will be undertaking missions that will further her Wyld Hunt - to end Elder Dragons - but Tearnanog is not so certain. Caithe and her had never got on well together, so Tearnanog is grateful to paired on her mission with Trahearne. The First of Firstborns is not who she expected him to be, and as they travel through Tyria, Tearnanog learns more than just magic from the Firstborn. Their unlikely partnership is put under fire when the two must figure out how to forge a pact out of the three squabbling Orders of Tyria. Their goal: End the Elder Dragon Zhaitan.

Dragon's Watch needed to have some resemblance of a routine, pre-battle ritual. It all started before Maguuma - Braham taking Marjory's hand, rippling out until Canach almost pushes them into the jungle. It never was the same after that though - always someone missing or an ache between them all that said "I miss you. I'm fighting for you."
And it all started and ended with holding hands.
