First of all, I have to make sure that Zim is incapacitated. Obviously, he's a (minor) threat, so I'll remove his PAK. He seems to have a hard time communicating / computing without it. NOTE TO SELF!!! DO NOT DESTROY IT. The PAK could be a useful tool in terms of research. Also, don't put it near your chest when it's on. It seems to automatically latch to that part of the body based on prior data. [Information not wholly reliable. Tested only twice. To test again.]

The Irken scoffed, “Why would I help you”, he asked folding his hands as he glared at Dib. “Because I’m not asking, these Irkens need your help!”, Dib yelled gesturing to the aliens in disguise. Zim looked unimpressed, “Those guys, there defects they left there empire”, he said. Pad and Giz looked down, “Hey! It wasn’t there faults those so called leaders abandoned them like they did to you!”, Dib compared. He wasn’t about to let him talk like that about his friends especially when Zim had no room to speak. “And your a defect too I was there when they told you”, he reminded him leaving Zim wordless. When he relied what he said he immediately said, “Wait no, I’m sorry-”. Zim shook his head, “No your right, I am I always have been”.
Dib frowned, “Zim....”, Zim looked down, “I’m useless, I’m nothing but a fuck up”. That was it for Dib and he forced Zim to look at him, “That’s not true! sure you can fuck up sometimes but your still pretty fucking smart”.Series

In their final year of high school, Dib and Zim have just barely figured out how to stay friends for long enough to finish their physics homework together. But when Dib suddenly stops acting like himself, it's up to Zim to try and figure out how to get him back to normal. Purely for rivalry reasons, of course! It's not like he CARES about Dib or anything. That would be stupid ... right?
... Oh. Fuck.
Zim's got secrets and Dib's got a laundry list of issues but together, they might just make one functional person. And they're going to have to figure out how to work together fast if Zim wants to stay on Earth past the end of the week.
