Hace tiempo, cuando la relación entre digimon y humanos no era bien comprendida existieron organizaciones cuyo fin era la investigación de estas criaturas y su posible relación con la raza humana.
Organizaciones como Shinzen Labs en Japón fue una de las pioneras encargadas de explorar el vínculo más allá de la relación entre tamer y digimon, logrando que con el tiempo no solo fuesen aceptados sino fueran también un eje central del entretenimiento.No obstante esto provocó a la larga que las organizaciones como Shinzen perdieran su objetivo y fueran abandonadas. Al borde de la quiebra, Kohaku Sakamoto y Naoko Furukawa intentan rescatar a Shinzen de la bancarrota reclutando a un tamer que pueda representarlos en los medios y así salvar lo que un día fue un lugar de entendimiento mutuo entre humanos y digimon.
¿Pero quién será el campeón que salve al laboratorio del olvido? ¿lograrán encontrar a alguien que les de visibilidad suficiente antes de que Shinzen termine absorbido por intereses gubernamentales?
