Summary
The old lady placed a small, sharp object into Emily's gloved hand, gently closing the younger woman's fingers around it.
For a moment, her sad, tired eyes did all the talking.
"This is what Johnston's men came looking for that day," she finally said aloud, gently holding Emily's fist. "Brett knew everything, you see. He knew what Johnston had done, and what he planned to do. That data crystal you hold... what's written on there... that is what he died for."

Summary
Canon's Deadly Relations covers sixty-seven years. It's not one book.
It also presents a very different fix-it challenge than Dark Genesis did.

Summary
Note: ON HIATUS UNTIL I FINISH UP THE BACKSTORY FIX-IT OF WALTERS.
Canon says, of Bester's Psi Cop internship (the year after he graduated from the Academy/high school):
"Interned with Olivia Vong, where you showed outstanding courage under fire."
But then we don't see anything else about that year, because canon jumps from the Liz Montoya story to the Stephen Walters|Black Fox story, fourteen years later.
This is the missing story.
A slow-moving OC POV story covering life as a Psi Cop intern, as well as the political fallout in the Corps of Montoya's attempt to go Blip.
Updated almost every day, because it's being written almost every day, with a planned long-range plot but not a planned day-to-day plot. So come in and see my stream-of-consciousness story of "all that stuff that I wanted to put somewhere in BtG and never found a home for all these ten-plus years."
Rated M for violence, language and trauma.

Summary
The second half of Deadly Relations told you part of the story. The Shadow Within told you part of the story. The Passing of the Technomages told you part of the story. Phoenix Rising told you part of the story. And part of the story was missing entirely.
Here is the ENTIRE story about what Bester, Byron, Donne and even Morden were doing in 2256, about a year before the show began - everything in one place and explained, with nothing omitted.
* What Bester did in the Earth-Minbari War
* Donne's backstory
* What Morden was up to before the Shadows got him
* Captain Hidalgo's backstory
* What really happened between Bester and ByronJMS definitely does not want you to read this book.
This work is rated M for mature/dark themes, grittiness, language, and because lots of characters die (but given the subject matter you probably knew that). No canon characters die in this work unless they also die here in canon (e.g. on the Icarus).
This work contains no smut or sexual interactions between characters, and the depictions of violence are no more graphic than in canon. There is mild nudity.
(I cannot stop the kudos bots.)

On the Public - and Secret - Relationship Between Psi Corps and EarthForce by pallasite

Summary
A multi-part work detailing this relationship in different time periods. This material comes back throughout Behind the Gloves and the companion backstory novellas (in-progress).
1. Telepaths in EarthForce security, stopping terrorism (during both the MRA and the Corps, through the Vacit era)
2. Telepaths in "special ops" (also through the Vacit era) - not really EarthForce but needs to be discussed anyway
3. Director Johnston's backstory
4. Psi Corps secret cooperation with EarthGov in the Johnston era and beyond, e.g. at the joint base on Ganymede, before, during and after the Earth-Minbari War
Also, President Robinson knew all along that Karges was a telepath.

Canon Reference List of All the Times Normals Kill Telepaths by pallasite

Summary
I've compiled the Big Ass List of Examples of canon abuse of telepaths, by normals, over 150 years. This list only includes what is directly mentioned or shown, and does not include the Telepath War itself.
The same list can be found in my prior post here, where I dissect a JMS Usenet post and respond with a discussion of the canon history and the legal framework by which telepaths are "regulated".
I am presently working on a novella focusing on just the events of 2156 - the year the Centauri arrived and made first contact, and the year the Corps (as such) was formed. This is one of the most eventful six-month periods in canon, but it somehow only gets a few pages and some indirect references later on. You deserve the full book.

Summary
Sandoval Bey was framed and arrested by (mundane) Psi Corps director Johnston, but commits suicide instead. Bey's death cements the evil Johnston's takeover of the Corps.
What happened?
The book doesn't say, now or later.
Al Bester, who looked at Bey like a father figure, stands alone by Bey's grave and vows that some day, he will make Johnston PAY.
Except the book leaves that out, too.
You had one job, book.

Summary
Bester's second interrogation in front of Director Johnston.
It's a trap.
"Are you a traitor, or are you a traitor?"
(Since canon presents this scene from Bester's POV, and he's a kid who doesn't know what's going on - even after later events unfold - I comment on the scene to show you all what was really happening.)

Summary
The first time Psi Corps Director Johnston tries to kill Bester... when he's only 15 years old.
Since canon presents this scene from Bester's POV, and he's a kid who doesn't know what's going on, I rework the scene to show you all what was really going on - what the adults know, but he doesn't. (He didn't even know how much danger he was in!)
Edit 6/18/22: The full story leading up to this scene, from Bey's point of view, can be found here.

Summary
Long ago, a friend of mine (correctly) observed that every time someone in Behind the Gloves says these words, he or she means something slightly different.
Indeed.
It's all about context.
So many meanings. So many.
Now with concrete canon examples!
