Mom sighs. “That guy Phillips, he’s not giving you shit for it, is he? Because I’ll talk to him.”
“Mom!” Rokia snaps, then sighs, setting down her tea and scrubbing her hands over her face. “I don’t want to talk about it, okay?”

Some of Blooms earliest memories were of begrudgingly watching the Hunger Games each year. When they were old enough for their name to be in the Reaping, she made a show of acting upset when their name wasn’t pulled from the large glass bowl and “accidentally” volunteering a second too late. The truth was, that although Bloom was trained for the Games, even showing a talent with knives, they were absolutely, completely, indifferent.

✎＿16-year-old Jeon Jeongguk lived in a futuristic society known as the Collective. A seemingly utopian world, the Collective has ended crime and violence by genetically eliminating all human emotions.
It was a society where everyone was required to be exactly the same. The Collective made you equal, so no person was different from the other.
Citizens were divided into categories, mainly Normals and Differents. A 'Normal' person was someone who always lived up to the expectations society's enforced edict and never rebelled against it. People who were starnge or rebelled against the Collective were diagnosed as 'Different' and outcasted, for everyone was to wear the same, act the same and love the same. 18-year-old Kim Taehyung was a strange man and therefore was diagnosed as a 'Different'.
Out of curiosity, Jeon Jeongguk and Kim Taehyung unexpectedly meet each other. Normals and Differents were forbidden to interact. However, despite this law, Jeongguk and Taehyung develop a growing attraction that leads to a forbidden and passionate romance.
