The pale shell gave way under the pressure pushing at it from within. A tiny snout, smaller than her other children’s had been, pushed outwards. A tiny screeching mewl was what she heard as a tiny, delicate nose poked out of the hole in the shell.
Daenerys carefully used her fingers to crack the edges of the hole, making sure she was gentle as she peeled away bits of shell. As the last of the shell fell away, the little dragonling was able to crawl out of its shell. It was a tiny thing, with silver and sea foam glistening in the firelight. Daenerys could feel the baby’s mind buzzing against her own. Warm and airy as it came to life.

Summary
King's Landing is sacked, half burnt to the ground first by Daenerys's dragons and then by Cersei Lannister's wildfire. But Cersei has been defeated and killed and now Daenerys Targaryen sits on the Iron Throne and is calling in all of the Lords of Westeros to swear loyalty to her. Sansa has not seen her brother, Jon Snow, King in the North, since he left with the Dragon Queen to help her take the capital and she lives in worry that either Daenerys will strong arm him into giving her The North, or the Dragon Queen will discover his true parentage and treat him as a threat to her rule. Now Sansa has to enter the figurative vat of wildfire to negotiate the terms of The North's independence with a very clearly unstable queen and Sansa's own bastard brother in hopes to avoid further conflict.
NOTE: Incomplete longfic idea and kind of abandoned. Sorry, guys.
