Summary
Based on the Kurt ending of Dread Weight: After fifty one years in the lab Kurt escaped the facility after realizing the security had laxed. Once out, he made his way to Rügen by train to resurrect Dimitri and Renata as well as get his soul vessel back, and after a mental breakdown or two, finding solace in Gisela, and many doubts plaguing his mind he perseveres despite everything for the others and possibility of normalcy. However Baba Yaga had been informed of Kurt’s venture by Potato, so it’s unlikely to be as smooth sailing as he’d want.
Please Note: The workskin is still a work in progress, so occasionally it will look just a little funky, especially on devices that aren't PC or a phone since those are the only ones I use to look at AO3, so some issues may fly under the radar, and the font size of ur skin might also clash if it’s on the bigger side. However any oddities can be fixed by simply turning the workskin off. (The button should appear near where you select chapters btw)

It was amazing what complete memory loss can do for one’s personality and putting things into perspective, even after you regain all of your memories.
It seems you were a rather moral person by nature, because the vague recollections of the atrocities you’d committed on people in the past as your memories started trickling in had you convinced you were a monster.
Which made it rather awkward when your finally recalled you had done everything out of patriotism, and had once upon a time believed you were doing the right thing. You should probably do something about that.
