    Summary

You put a bullet in his chest!
    You weren't there.
You could've put one in his leg!
    You weren't there.
    But I should've been!
    You loved him.
    I guess I'll never know.

    And now, neither will you.

And he knew nothing but pain for a moment then a white plain. Hell, even his clothes were white now. “Feels like I’m in either a bad remake of the old Battlestar Galactica series or a bleach commercial.” He murmured to himself as he looked around.
A lone door appeared in front of him, “Said the spider to the fly. Or would that be ‘Welcome to my house! Enter freely and of your own will!’ Said Vlad Dracula to Johnathan Harker.” He tested the door before slowly turning the knob and opening it.
Finding a large plains set in light blue lighting (shiver…blue lighting….) and, there, in front of him, was the biggest, baddest, American Lion, Panthera leo atrox outside of a museum. Thirteen feet long and 1,000 pounds of pure muscle. Red spotted ruff and black spotted undercarriage with a back tipped tail. And buff colored body. And was basically letting him know he was his.

    Summary

Overall, Jack is pretty happy. He’s just met his guide and they’ve got a sweet new second level accord (okay, so the fact that they totally bypassed the first level is, perhaps, concerning). Not to mention, Tony is apparently a shoo-in for that new investigative unit Paul wants. However, not everything is as simple as it appears. His new guide has a ton of baggage from his last “perfect” sentinel and a talent for finding more (and weirder) trouble than Jack has had contend with since he was responsible for Daniel Jackson. Including a new and totally unexpected threat to Earth.

Against all odds, Tony has met a second perfect sentinel. Moreover, they have somehow managed to form a second level accord without even trying. This should be enough trouble for even Tony to be getting on with. But then Jack reads Tony into the top secret program he’s working on over at the Pentagon, and suddenly, Tony is being sucked down the rabbit hole into a world where aliens exist, space travel is possible, and Earth is in almost as much danger from its own people as it is from its offworld enemies. It’s at times like this that one has to ask oneself: what would Will Smith do?

    Summary

“Tony, I don’t want to scare the bejesus out of you or anything, but you are, like the hero of every space opera ever. Seriously, I’m getting Captain Kirk, Paul Atreides, and Obi Wan Kenobi all rolled into one here. The young Obi Wan I mean.” Guide Angela Montenegro

Guide Anthony DiNozzo thinks he's had his shot at bonding. He's met "his" sentinel and, for reasons that he doesn't want to talk about, he turned him down. That should be it. After all, if a person doesn't bond with their perfect match, they don't get another chance, right? Tony's former sentinel won't so much as consider bonding with another guide, even to treat his terminal illness.

Leave it to Tony to break all the rules and in doing so, end up in the middle of a goddamned space opera, complete with politics, aliens, and his very own Space Force general.

Okay, so technically, Major General Jonathan "Jack" O'Neill is Air Force, but by the time Tony is done, who knows, there may well be a sixth branch of the military. And who better to lead it than a guy who's saved Earth a few dozen times?

    Summary

A cross between a bunny farm escapee and an ear worm (Is there such a thing as an idea worm?), this plotline has been haunting my muses for weeks:

Sharing a startling number of similarities (including troubled mothers and absentee/neglectful fathers, being strung up on flagpoles, a prolonged disillusionment and inability to fit in with early and middle school schoolmates, a propensity to being kidnapped and put in life threatening situations, being generally underestimated in their jobs, and facing on the job exposure to weaponized versions of plague and anthrax - to name a few), what if Tony DiNozzo and Spencer Reid were meant for each other, but not in the way that most of their colleagues would expect given their stereotypical jock and genius profiles.

What if Spencer has a hidden wealth of confidence and skill that his colleagues occasionally witness but only in glimpses (like the shot at the end to the LDSK case)? What if the glimpses seen of Tony's vulnerabilities, empathy, and intuition were more inherent and not just peaking out around the edges?

What if Spencer is Tony's bamf sentinel and Tony is Spencer's empathic (and emotionally fluent (?) at some future point) guide?

    Summary

This is a team-as-family with a dash of age regression thrown in, because yours truly is like that and loves to make the characters suffer. If you like this series, I recommend Where I Come From by TheGriefPolice, which is a fantastic series written by a fantastic writer who I am privileged to have collabed with on Swing and a Hit, If Nobody Believed in You, The Best Day, and Change. The series comes highly recommended.

    Summary

A collection of post-episode vignettes, mostly explicit in nature, mostly following Gibbs/Tony. It keeps with canon as much as possible and I'm posting them as I rewatch the series for the first time in years. I'll keep posting them until I get bored or get caught up, whichever happens first. I'll try to mark it complete if I think I'm going to be done with it.

There may be AU diversion later if I don't like where the show's going (*cough* Tiva *cough*).

There's also quite a bit of rare-pair and rare tags used in this series, so I hope it has something for everyone.

Each story can technically be read stand alone, although there is a story arc between Tony and Gibbs and having seen the episode in question is always recommended. The episode the fic is based on will always be tagged.

So please, join me for the ride and enjoy!

Slightly AU tag for the episode Frame-Up. Tony's dealing - dealing with the fact that his new Director turned him over to the not so tender mercies of the FBI. Dealing with the stink surrounding the whole mess with Chip Sterling. Dealing with Sacks' anger and antagonism. He's dealing - for now - but he knows it's not going to last.

Tony's mind likes to reduce things to black and white. Wrong and right. Villain and hero. Figuring out who is on which side isn't always easy. But, then again, he's not as dumb as they all think he is. And he's done playing.

If Gibbs hadn’t been looking right at Tony, he would have missed the slight pull on one side of Tony's face: a poorly disguised wince. It was then Gibbs noticed how rigidly Tony was sitting, gripping the side of the cot with a white-knuckled grip.
He spun around to the camera in the corner of the room and pointed between it and the cell. “Get me in there. NOW!”

Or, a completely gratuitous Frame Up AU with more Tony whump.

A Tiva-centric episode-by-episode fic marathon filling in gaps, peeking behind curtains, and reading Tiva into episodes with little or no Tiva... This should be a fun ride. Each season will be one fic, a chapter per episode.
