Ana's instructions are clear, and they all move unquestioningly, immediately following her orders.
"Come on Shan, stick with me." Lucy bumps their shoulders together as they exit the tent.
As if on command, both Glimmer and Shadowjumper's wings snap out, and then they're airborne, eight Wingmaidens falling into a v-shaped formation behind Marisol and Ana as they're led to where the boy was rescued.
It's not a long flight by any means, a little west of their island, the sea below deceptively calm from this far above, but they know better.
The cold sets in quickly in the water, and without knowing how long the boy had been afloat, there's a good chance that they will find remains instead of survivors.
