Summary
“Krypto,” Lena says groggily. “Krypto, go.” She gulps, but her mouth is dry. Lena tries to strengthen her voice into more of a command, but she isn’t very successful. “Run!”
Krypto is barking incessantly. He’s a good ten feet ahead but doesn’t dare run back to his owner.
Lena can feel the looming presence above her. She doesn’t have to look to know. “Krypto!” she loudly states with more authority than she feels. “Release! Find her! Run!”
A shoe comes into her periphery. That annoying whistle fills her ears. That whistle that Lena spent hundreds of hours deconditioning Krypto from obeying. She keeps her eyes on her beloved pet. She smiles when Krypto looks at her with such emotion, almost like regret. The barks turn into whines as he backs away from the scene. Finally, finally, Krypto runs.

Lena does everything in her power to protect the puppy that she has come to love. What happens when her pup does the same and leads the National City heroine to his selfless owner?

As if to prove his point, he produced a pair of scissors which were glowing faintly with the same green hue as Clark's bindings and cut open his Superman suit from neck to crotch. Lena Luthor loves working with her best friend. Granted her best friend is an android her brother made but she still loves working with her. Not that she'd ever tell anyone. Her life is already pathetic enough without everyone knowing she works 100 hour weeks because her closest relationship is with a robot. Not that K2 is the main factor in her hours, no she and her team make revolutionary medical technology for Luthor Corp. She's there because she loves her job, not because sometimes K2 hugs her and it makes her crushing loneliness disappear for a moment.
Kara Zor-El was kidnapped by Lex Luthor when she first landed on Earth and has been kept hidden from the world disguised as a robot ever since. It's not so bad though, his sister found her and brought her to work with her and her team and despite believing she's a robot they treat her as one of their own. It's a little awkward that she has a teeny tiny crush on Lena and Lena thinks she's a robot. But Kara can deal with that. It's not like Lena could do anything even if she did know Kara was a person, Lex made sure of that.
Rated Mature just in case.

Loved him enough to do anything for him, including giving up his quest to destroy Superman, once he found out they were one and the same. They started working together to prevent wrongdoers, and things were good. They married and Clark was four months pregnant, and Lex had always known that Kryptonian males could carry children, the clone had allowed him to know, so they were ready prepared for when Clark found out.
Lex was happy; he loved Clark and their life together, and he was so excited to raise a family with him, so of course, that's when Clark died.
