    This story initially follows the plot of F. Scott Fitzgerald's amazing novel The Great Gatsby, but eventually veers off into its own plot line involving the Death Eaters and the race to save a romance that has endured through time and circumstance. Mostly narrated by Theo Nott with some chapters from Draco's POV, with appearances by Pansy Parkinson, Ron Weasley, Blaise Zabini, Harry Potter, Lavender Brown, Seamus Finnegan, and Tom Riddle.

    Title comes from one of the original titles of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, before it became The Great Gatsby.

    On the way to his first year at Hogwarts, Harry meets a lanky red-haired boy who introduces himself as Ron. He calls Draco "the wrong sort of people". Harry rejects Ron's friendship and an enmity takes its course.

    Note: This story is about what it would have been like if Draco and Ron had swapped roles. How would Harry's adventure have gone if Draco Malfoy had become his best friend and not Ron Weasley?
    Watch out! Due to this circumstance, the characters Draco and Ron (and their families) are rewritten! We have a "good" Draco and a "bad" Ron.
