- Too long “prison and court stuff” part
- Later in the series I feel like their special attributes (like being a psychiatrist and a crime consultant) are kinda forgotten. It matters less and less in duration of the story

Summary
In his house in Wolf Trap, Virginia, surrounded by well-cared-for and well-loved dogs, resides the well-known, early retired, and committed to solitude psychiatrist: Dr. Will Graham.
For the last couple of years, Dr. Will Graham has not heard a single word from Jack Crawford, but when a new serial killer starts creating problems for the FBI's new bloodhound, Jack Crawford is forced to come knocking on Dr. Graham's door.
Soon Dr. Graham discovers that Hannibal Lecter is far more interesting than he expected.
Interest quickly spirals into obsession, and obsession develops a compulsion to pull that dark thread that keeps the agent's person suit together until Will can find what truly lies underneath.

Role Reversal AU: Following the execution of Garrett Jacob Hobbs, Hannibal is forced to see Doctor Will Graham for a psychiatric evaluation before he can return to the field. Once cleared, Jack insists that Will shadow Hannibal in the hopes of catching the Shrike's copycat. Hannibal has become a master of making sure the FBI stays blind to his extracurricular activities, but Will is a man who sees far too much, and won't be so easily overcome.

When Hannibal doesn’t answer, Will says, “This must be an awful shock to you.”
His voice is slurred. At first, Hannibal had attributed it to large gash he'd left in Will’s left cheek, but he realizes now that Will is tremendously drunk.
“No,” Hannibal says, slowly, as the pieces begin to slide into place for him. “In retrospect, it’s not that surprising at all.”

Summary
Part Two of the AU where Hannibal is a troubled FBI profiler and Will is a psychiatrist and serial killer.
He lifts his head and kisses Will again, and he knows that Will can taste his blood and that the taste excites him because when Hannibal draws back Will’s hands skitter down Hannibal’s stomach and reach eagerly for his fly.
Hannibal brushes the fingers away gently. He takes Will’s hands in his own, but lightly, as though they are a moth that might be easily crushed. “Not yet.”
Will frowns. “Please,” he says. Not a plea this time.

Summary
A roleswitch AU in which FBI profiler Hannibal buys a home haunted by the ghost of serial killer Will.
The entrance to the secret room is well-hidden, but Hannibal finds his way inside.
There’s a light switch on the wall next to the doorway, and when Hannibal flicks it on a long series of hanging fluorescent lights flicker back to life, illuminating the kill room.
Tools and implements of torture hang from pegboard along the walls, and at the end of the narrow space a large red-painted storage chest sits.
There’s a smell to the room. It’s faint - dusty and dry and old - but Hannibal knows it for what it is. It’s a death smell, and it’s coming from the storage chest.This story can be viewed as a part of my larger Identically Different role reversal AU, or as companion piece to Hungry Ghost. However, it can also stand on its own, and you will not need to read either of the above stories in order to understand this one.

Summary
In hindsight, Hannibal understands why Will Graham blames him for his life, his entire practice, being uprooted unceremoniously.
After all, Hannibal came into his life and disrupted every aspect of it, his own empathy and neuroses blending and blurring with Will’s until they were more like one person than separate entities.
