I've thought this over long and hard, but the evil Hylia promised protection for Ravio from the evils. I don't think I can tolerate one more evil bothering him just because of association to me. I don't need another lover killed because of my failure. The evil's numbers are growing by the second. There's too many to count, from every timeline and power level. I love my brothers, but I don't think we can win this as we are now.

She saw no need to keep up a charade of nobility around him, and so he was among the few privy to the disastrous whirlwind of papers that accompanied a new research spiral.
“Oh, Ravio! What brings you here today? I had thought we weren’t scheduled to meet for lunch until a few days from now…”

I swear to god i adore this ravio characterisation. I think a lot of the fandom lean too much into his soft appearance and care and while the fandom definitely has not forgotten his sleazy side they definitely forgot the selfishness that often comes paired with it.
Ravio fully embracing his low-empathy self and deciding to be selfish enough for both link and himself is soooooo. I adore it when characters do that. Altruistic selfishness.

And that's without having to wrestle with sparks of attraction towards ladies DEFINITELY above their station (for most of them, any way).
Still, there's a job to be done, and their families to protect. And if Sky, Warriors, Legend and Twilight have anything to say about it, defend them they shall!
