"Izzy was never sure if the sands gave way under his feet or if a wave lifted him. If he were a teller (or believer) of tall tales, he’d have said the colony of jellyfish picked him up and carried him out to sea.
Izzy thrashed and fought, kicking out against the ephemeral hoards, trying to kick off the sandy bottom to push for the surface as much as to kick the glowing sirens that had managed to lure (stupid fucking idiot mistake) him out. Yet he never made contact with anything satisfyingly solid. Tentacles twined his limbs, stings soothing in terrifying contrast to the way they slowly bound and immobilized his limbs in endless shimmering ropes.

Stede and Ed have fought their way back to each other, killed Benjamin Hornigold, and faked their deaths at Okracoke Island. Now they’re setting sail into their new life with the crew of the Revenge.
But the past doesn’t go away just because they’ve declared their love. The crew is still unhappy about that whole “attempted murder” thing, and neither of the co-captains is very good at relationships.
When the Revenge finds a cursed necklace, things begin to go wrong. The co-captains must lay the curse to rest, come to terms with the things they’ve done—and maybe, just maybe, work their way towards true intimacy.
Along the way there’ll be storms, swordfights, handsome rival pirate captains, naval battles, seagull goddesses, and lots of talking it through, as a crew.

Stede is the Keeper of the Mother Spring, The Night Guardian, and it’s his job to keep humans away from his people. When a handsome stranger with long hair, a beard, and pictures painted into his skin turns up, will he be able to fulfil his duties?

He loses control of his chariot and crashes into the sycamore grove of a fancy villa which he learns belongs to the pretty man picking flowers!
A GB-centric fic, though other characters feature in very minor roles.
