Day 6 - Proof of Life
“Keep fighting,” Technoblade tells him in a raw and cracking voice. “Keep fighting them. They’ll start to listen.”
“Wh-what?” Wilbur whimpers back, flinching at the loud bang that comes from behind him. Technoblade gasps at the sound, hands moving to cup the back of Wilbur’s neck and tug him down into a hug.
“The voices,” Technoblade whispers in his ear as footsteps begin to approach them, an upset murmuring coming from the Watchers. “Keep fighting them. They’ll start to listen. Just keep fighting.”
Wilbur winds his arms underneath Technoblade’s body, locking his hands together in a futile attempt to make them inseparable. “I’m sorry, Techno, I’m so sorry—“
“Just keep fighting!” Hands grab at his hair, his shoulders, his legs. The Keepers hiss and spit orders for them to let go, pulling at wherever they can find a grip. Wilbur tightens his hold, sobbing when his grip begins to fail.Series

A stiff suffocating Darkness, the metallic shimmer of blood, an overpowering scent of smoke, so thick it muffled the sounds of anguish and pain that rung out. The cries for help that went unheard and the rings of swords being swung through the thick air. Dread filled his veins, bile rose in his throat as he shot up. A nightmare? He took deep breath to calm himself, his hands quivering and his back soaked in a cold sweat. No- the scent of smoke was still strong, the air was hazy and the screaming never stoped when he opened his eyes. Panic surged through him, the land had known, the land had tried to warn him.

Summary
If you asked those born of the Dream when the Blood God and the Angel of Death became the Blood God and the Angel of Death, they would tell you they had always been that way. The pair had come into existence as exactly that, a pair, inseparable without dire consequences. It was simply the nature of the server that the Blood God and the Angel of Death were never far from the other, and that’s exactly who Technoblade and Philza were, forces of nature.
The two swept through nations in single days, tearing down years of advancement with the might of Death herself and the spirit of Bloodshed behind them. The thing that puzzled those of the Dream most wasn’t the reason for the destruction the pair caused, everyone had heard the word anarchy slip from the lips of their foe’s mouths. What puzzled them was the ferocity that the Blood God and the Angel of Death used to dispatch the slightest hint of a government. A visceral reaction like that didn’t spring up out of nowhere. Too bad even the slyest of the Dream couldn’t weasel an inkling of their past through the ironclad walls built up around their hearts.
