“But the nurses will see you’re missing,” Campbell said. “They’ll look for you.”
“They won’t have to. I always come back.” Fergus waved him off. “But there’s only a few good hours left for me to walk around, so I should be leaving now.” Campbell didn’t say anything else, but Fergus could tell he wasn’t asleep.
