Summary
Continuation of Lost In Your Eyes, please read part 1 before continuing to understand what is going on!**
Hannibal and his group have attacked and taken control of Will's small community. During the attack, Hannibal finds an interest in Will and seeks to charm the reluctant captive and help guide him towards what he believes to be Will's true nature. Will is hesitant, but Hannibal starts to slowly grow on him. When he starts to get conflicting feelings, Will must decide if he still wants to escape (if he can) or stay at Hannibal's side.

Other more important matters shoved the idea farther back than he had intended for it to go. He'd had a dozen more cases in the months since their meeting, more than a few meetings with Alana at Jack’s request, and he'd even found another dog to bring into his home. Now, with the whiskey settled warmly in his stomach, Will thought back to the words of a man he’d met only a handful of times.
His laptop sat on his lap, and he typed ‘serial killers alive’ in the search bar. He rolled his eyes at himself, scrolling through the list before he saw a rather familiar name glaring up at him: Hannibal Lecter.
He also happened to know that Hannibal Lecter was kept at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. How could he not know? Freddie Lounds wrote of nothing but Lecter for weeks after he'd been caught.
He didn't bother looking up the proper protocol for sending a letter to an inmate. If he was an FBI Consultant, then he obviously knew something. He wasn't an idiot, after all.

Summary
Will is a 17th century blacksmith, he should be a highly respected member of the local community but instead due to his "gift" of empathy many regard him as a witch and he does not get the work his mastery of the craft deserves. In order to achieve his dream of owning a piece of land he takes to the road as a Highway man. One night he holds up the new Justice of the Peace, a Hannibal Lecter and his companion Lady Bedelia Du Maurier, which sets in motion a chain of events which could lead Will to an end common enough for a highway man, the gallows. As unlikely as it may seem, after Hannibal visits the local blacksmith, the two men become friends. Can Hannibal save Will from a fate many locals and the blacksmith himself have always seen as inevitable.

This was meant to be light hearted and fluffy and there is lots of fluff, sassiness and flirting, but when I thought that Will would likely be viewed as a witch and the likely consequences of that, this ended up a bit more serious than intended - Chapter nine is still fluffy though
