Stiles Stilinski was tired, beaten, and honestly to his breaking point and being Russian (raised by a hardass Russian mother) that said a lot. He had lost trust in his friends, lost respect for his father, and didn’t even know where he was going with his life. He was still haunted by the actions of the Nogitsune and being forgotten. So he does the only thing he think to do and gives his aunt a call. She after giving him a slight scolding and telling him he is getting soft invited (threatened) him into coming to visit her.
Stiles doesn’t know it yet but going to Chicago is one of the best decisions he will ever make. Finding love and dealing with the past isn’t that part he comes to find out when you have a pack of Gallaghers by your side.

Mickey looked up from his pancakes, locking eyes with his red-headed niece. Syrup was dripping from her chin and he knew without looking that her lap would be sticky with the stuff. He stifled a sigh, wishing not for the first time that he hadn’t been left home to baby-sit. It’s not that he didn’t love Franny, he just didn’t think he was the best person to look after her.
“What do you mean, Little Red?” he asked.
Franny gave an exaggerated sigh in the way only four year olds could.
“I mean,” she began, shoving a piece of pancake in her mouth. “You always hold onto Uncle Ian’s arm when you’re sleeping. How come?”
