"¿Podrías crear algo hermoso para después simplemente destruirlo?"
Después de perder a su esposo en una extraña misión a una zona desconocida que llamaron "el resplandor" Quackity siente que su corazón está destrozado por la idea de no saber cómo salir adelante. Sin embargo, cuando Luzu finalmente aparece en su umbral después de un año y medio de silencio algo extraño sucede, pues los efectos desconocidos del Resplandor parecen estar afectándolos a ambos.
Determinado a descubrir la verdad dentro de los misterios que Luzu parece esconder en el fondo de sus recuerdos, Quackity decide ir al Resplandor para encontrar una forma de ayudarlo y salvar lo que siente es un amor resquebrajado por la soledad y la incertidumbre.

Era muy consciente de su atractivo, y como la criatura coqueta y caprichosa que es Rosa se tenía mucha confianza, después de todo esta no era su primera "cacería" y se sabía muy capaz de enredar al tan correcto Administrador Cian en sus encantos ¿Y por qué no? Pasar un buen rato.
No tenía forma de saber qué tipo de juego estaba comenzando, o con quien se estaba metiendo en realidad.

Quackity isn’t the biggest hockey fan. Whether that's because he just doesn't find the sport interesting or because he doesn't have time to even try and enjoy it doesn't matter. He doesn't like hockey and sometimes, he finds the players obnoxious. Some of them are tolerable of course, like the hockey team that shares the rink in his 'hometown'. He hasn’t met the entire team, but his friends are friends with them, so they couldn't be that bad, right? Of course, his tolerance for hockey players is put to the test when the figure skating team and hockey team both advance to the next round of competition which for some bizarre reason takes place in Mexico and both team coaches decided to travel together a month prior to the competitions. Enter Luzu, a hockey player whom Quackity had yet to meet. He's self reserved and only really catches himself being outgoing around his team. He didn't have an issue with the traveling arrangements, he knew the only person that wasn't part of his team that'd talk to him would be Rubius. Well, that's what he assumed. Of course it doesn't go that way and he finds himself stuck in the same hotel room as a duck hybrid.
