Summary

Little do they know, he, and his pair of cohorts: Vinca and Ebarum have been sent by...certain Martells to orchestrate the assassination of the Lannister heirs. But each of them gets distracted in their own way.
Johannas finds himself getting addicted to the high-stakes 'Game of Thrones' that the members of the court play in Kings Landing. He deals with Littlefinger, plays brother to Sansa Stark, and becomes utterly infatuated with the Hound. Meanwhile, Ebarum struggles to find his place in the city guard, he finds a friend in Jamie Lannister despite his mission...and oddly enough, finds commonality in Lord Varys. Vinca, a proud Dornishwoman is a jarring sight to the people of King's Landing, and her mouth gets her into trouble wherever she can find it....even in the Queen's quarters.
It all goes to shit at the Battle of the Blackwater, the trio separates, and chaos follows.

The fires of war had scoured the Seven Kingdoms, leaving them in ruins. Once-proud castles stood as hollow shells, their walls blackened and crumbling, while the smoke of burned cities lingered in the air like a reminder of all that had been lost. The great houses of Westeros, once known for their alliances and rivalries, were now scattered, their names forgotten by time or crushed under the weight of their own ambition. The Iron Throne, that coveted seat of power, sat empty, its bloodstained iron a silent testament to the reigns of those who had once vied for it—kings and queens who had come and gone, all swallowed by the very flames they had sought to control.
The world was quieter now, but not in peace. There were no songs sung of great victories, no tales of champions or heroes. The songs that lingered in the air now spoke only of loss—the great loss of hope, of the people, of the land. The Seven Kingdoms were fractured, and where once there was unity under the crown, now there was only disarray.
But in the darkness, in the heart of the fractured realm, a new spark flickered.
