22 year old O'rahm Xoorha has embarked on a journey to Eorzea, with the goal to aid all in need as a new adventurer. Yet the threads of fate have other plans in store for him. Before even stepping foot on Eorzea’s shores, he has been blessed to serve as Hydaelyn’s Champion: The Warrior of Light. While on this journey, he shall find power, friends, family, and love.
But he will also be faced with great evils. From ancient entities to his own inner demons, and even the Gods themselves, all shall vie to take his life! Such is his soul’s fate to be hunted for the power cultivated within. For as the shadow of end draws ever closer, the darkness of the Abyss shall rise in opposition.

Was passiert wenn Zenos auf meinen abgewandelten Charakter, meiner eigenen Horrorgeschichte trifft? Das dachte ich mir und schrieb drauf los. Nun ist dabei eine völlig neue Interpretation der Storyline von FFXIV entstanden, aber im Stil eines Thrillers. Merkwürdige Dinge passieren in Eorzea und Zenos wird dem nachgehen in der Hoffnung endlich einen würdigen Tod zu erfahren oder ein neues Spielzeug zu bekommen. Doch er wird auf eine lang vergessene Mythologie stoßen, die zu einem internationalen Konflikt führt. Der Bund der Morgenröte ermittelt zeitgleich und jede Seite weiß etwas, was die andere nicht weiß. Nur der Leser erkennt das ganze Bild, wenn er richtig aufpasst. Am Ende wird sich Zenos fragen, ob er dass, was er gefunden hat, vielleicht behalten will und was er bereit ist dafür zu zerstören. Ich werde mir die größte Mühe geben, Zenos so kanonisch wie möglich darzustellen wie er auch ist - eine arrogante, kaltblütige Bestie der andere aufschneidet, nur um zu sehen ob er dabei fühlt.

The cards had been set, collected throughout many rounds that had gone on for too long. Everyone is restless, ready to disembark and tear the insignia that had chained them down for all their years spent in this caged war.
They won't be made as a sacrifice to a madman's delirious worship to the godforsaken moon, no more will their be life just a number in the ledgers of the Empire's casualty.
But there was more to be concerned of than that, and it's the inevitable sacrifice that both the Tribunus and the Primus has to pay should they decide to continue on this path.

“S-Sir… Are you…?” Saga finally placed his hand on him, pulling him by the shoulder and then guiding him to hook an arm over the other. Gently too… There’s that gentleness that he is grateful Saga would spare to someone like him.
“Am indeeeeeeed drunk!” Zoticus hiccuped, slumping slightly due to the difference of their heights. Which made it difficult for them to walk at all, he find himself stumbling over his own legs, often Saga’s as well. “Mmm, they’v keep givin me drinks and shhhite and-” He hiccuped again, now with an hand flailing to gesture his frustration, “-toASTin’ fer nothin’! Well… T’was fer Nael but…” He grumbled, it’s all he can do with his mind going nowhere with the conversation.
“Uhh, well, um, can you… walk at all?”
“Shore ah can!”
And as an example, Zoticus almost pulled them down to kiss the ground. But luckily, Saga was strong enough to keep them both from even tipping too far down toward the floor to truly fall. The sensation did lags behind for the Tribunus, however, and he find himself giggling at it. That seems to be prove enough for Saga to consider that he indeed cannot walk and must be escorted out. So, without further questioning, Saga sighed and devised a plan..

Back on 2016-2017, I wrote my first ever fanfic, centered around my FFXIV character, Castor Entialpoh, titled The Fallen Hero. I've recently been re-reading it, and frankly, I think I could have done better on so many fronts. I've been playing FFXIV since before Heavensward released, back when the level cap was 50 and the only tanks were PLD and WAR, and Castor's been part of my life for over ten years. I wanted to honor a character that helped keep me afloat when I was at my worst, health-wise, and this story was born from that desire.
And so, let me tell you a tale: of a man burdened by his past as he struggles to make peace with the present. A soldier-turned-adventurer who became a Warrior of Light. -

"Many wondered how Garlemald could allow such devastation that befalls Bozja to be recreated upon Eorzea. Of course, the Agrius' fall were a widely known motivator that leads up to such event. But that's the point of it all, no one can stand such calamity to be enacted upon Eorzea. Everyone in the Senaculum has their own agenda, the hearings were all but to see what plan they could weave to their benefit, it was ultimately expected for the Emperor- at that moment- to whom he would favor his decision to. So what was the point of watching the hearing in the first place? Aside from obligation, there's a vantage point within the building that would allow one to see which actors could be plucked to play the supporting part in their little plays. Major ones at that... Beside, it's a good lesson in practice to the Legion's politics."
