It was a usual day for the red-haired commander. It's been calm since the war ended, Cale has been enjoying his free time with his children and family. Lounging around and farming. He even had a hammock built so he could relax outside. That's where he was currently, relaxing in his hammock. Reading while the children played in the farm, Choi Han training nearby. He got so comfortable that Cale fell asleep.
…Only to see when he opened his eyes back up a ceiling he didn't recognize. He was covered in a blanket he didn't remember and was in clothes that were normal in Roan.

The battlefield was far behind them now. The swords were long-since sheathed and sealed away, and the scars—though they still cut across their skin—had faded into a part of daily life. There were no demons left to kill. Only old memories and quiet days. And for once, those weren’t trying to eat them alive.
Sanemi stood on the engawa of their home—wide, sweeping wood floors polished to a soft gleam under his bare feet. His sleeves were pushed up, revealing the deep, puckered scars across his arms, and his white hair was tied back in a lazy knot, the strands catching the lantern light like strands of silk. His violet eyes squinted toward the gate.
“Genya!” he barked. “Hurry up, we're not waiting ‘til nightfall!”
A low grumble came from inside. “Tch… I said I’m comin’…”
