Ruffnut Thornton may only be fourteen, but she already knew exactly who she wanted to marry. He was smart, a creator of unending chaos, and even kind of cute when she thought about it, which was quite often. But best of all, he treated her and her brother as separate people and not two halves of a whole, while still respecting their unique bond. The only problem was that whenever she tried to spend any time with him one on one, he skittered away like a startled deer. But she had a plan. Dragon Training was starting soon and they would be forced to spend more time together, even if it was in a group. Somehow, she was going to make Hiccup Haddock notice her, even if it took getting mauled by a dragon…or maybe she could sacrifice her twin instead. After all, Hiccup was rather softhearted and would probably comfort her in her hour of need, right?

Now without their dragons, stuck in the bodies of toddlers, surrounded by Vikings who are still at war with dragons, and with Hiccup slowly breaking apart, the riders struggle to find a way back to their time before they change the past, get discovered, or one of their many enemies finds their way to Berk.

Or: I'm back on my HTTYD hyperfixation because the live action movie was awesome in my humble opinion. This is my own take on feral/raised by dragons Hiccup, lol, and I'm happily running with the opportunity to write a story with non-human culture and affectionate forehead taps.

So when a person from our world enters the live action How To Train Your Dragon, for security Stoick has him imprisoned. All of his knowledge to Stoick of their world and future events, far from helping, worsens his predicament.
Taking place in the live action How To Train Your Dragon, a person from our world who genuinely stumbles onto Berk by accident during a particularly sensitive moment between Stoick and Hiccup, a fan of the franchise, might've expected to be given a warm welcome, but the realities of the viking culture quickly put those notions to rest, and an already stressed out Stoick over his son's inability to step up and reputation as the clown viking of the tribe further makes the Chieftan angered and panicked at the emergence of a strange outlander.
Can such a predicament be overcome?
