Following the canon events of Beastars, Louis is having difficulties coping with all of the stress and depression that is hitting him hard. Struggles in his relationship is causing his mood to spiral, and when he closes his eyes, he has lucid dreams that leaves him a mess. He has been barred from seeing his friends because his wife, Azuki, believes he is expressing contempt for her. He fears he is spiraling out of control. And it does not help that everyone he meets seems to be vying to sway him to their side.
But there is a darker past attached to the Horns Conglomerate which is stirring up antigovernmental rhetoric espoused strongly by the new investor who wants to buy a large share in the company. A dark secret that, if revealed, would utterly crush his father's enterprise and result in a bloodied war that would rip apart the peace between carnivores and herbivores all over again. Those pushing for the war will not rest until everyone involved in the secret operation known as Project: Harvest are punished by death. Will Louis be able to balance out his own sanity and prevent society's descent into chaos?
