In the wizarding world, there are six legally recognized genders. Of course, there are any number of gender identities that a magical can claim, but, in the interest of keeping legal matters relatively simple, the law ignores those outside the standard six. The six genders are broken up into primary and secondary. The primary genders are those legally recognized by the Muggle world: Male and Female. The secondary genders are Alpha, Beta, and Omega. The six genders are any combination of a primary and secondary gender. The possibilities are as follows: Male Alpha, Female Alpha, Male Beta, Female Beta, Male Omega, Female Omega. Magicals are born with their primary gender and receive their secondary gender between the ages of eleven and thirteen.

Alexander Potter was 1 year old when people started calling him The Boy Who Lived. They didn’t call him that often only when they wanted to talk about his younger brother or war or Voldemort. Some people don’t want to talk to him, but some bow to him, and some give him or his parents presents as a “token of gratitude”. Alex didn’t like it much because his parents always smiled in that special way which means they were actually sad. They always smile that way when his brother is mentioned.
Everyone knows the story: Voldemort attacked the Potters on the Samhain in 1981. He tortured James, stunned Lily, and killed Harry before the curse rebounded back at him. Hardwin Potter is a hero of the wizarding world. He is a footnote in the chapter about Voldemort’s destruction. He is dead.
