UPDATE: I am tinkering with this now that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is out. Shirtless Cloud is finally canon!
It seemed a good idea at the time. Sneaking into the Junon barracks posing as a Shinra infantryman. Taking one for the team: just what leaders do, huh? Besides, he had the right training. Barret used to joke about skinny-ass Blondie swapping sides at any point. But Cloud wasn’t expecting to betray his friends like this. Not that he has any choice.
This story is a Final Fantasy VII compilation what-if scenario in which Rufus captures Cloud as the blond swordsman tries to board the ferry from Junon to Costa del Sol in Shinra garb. What does Mr. President want from this terrorist? Come find out. (I think you can guess). A tale of infatuation, bile, friendship, and revenge. Tons of smut, too.
