    Life growing up was consistent: tend to the land with your parents, cultivate and research plants, prepare for the winter. It was a wash, rinse, repeat cycle for the first 16 years of your life.

    It changed the summer after your 16th birthday when your parents left for the weekly market and didn't return. It was a lonely solitary life of picking up where they left off. The year that followed consisted of attempting to survive on your own so you wouldn't have to face the danger of an un-wedded woman in the Taisho era.

    The year was quiet, just you and your new found friend, the cat that appeared one day never leaving you alone. One night, deep into winter, you felt the night shift as an unwanted presence entered your small valley. A demon seeking to finish the job: killing off your bloodline.

    Basically the reader's rise into the Plant Hashira and the journey it takes her and the relationships she makes along the way.
    Side note, I don't know shit about farming with scythes/farming that much in general so lets just ignore any inaccuracies in our first few chapters:D

    The last thing Giyū saw was the horrible creature known as Muzan crawling away to another part of their quickly crumbling world, taking the hashira who could still fight with him, and the bodies of those who no longer couldn't, behind him. Giyū was the latter, trying to stand up even through the sea of blood at his feet. He was dying.

    Why was this happening? Wasn't the slayer mark supposed to boost his survival?

    Turns out, it did. Maybe a little too well.

    Fate had once again chosen the wrong person to save, Giyū thought, back in his thirteen year old body, staring at his dead childhood friend right in the face. Tanjiro would have been so much better at time travel.
